We went there from Praslin by boat and arrived at the Tortoise Center where we could feed and pet the cuties :) Don´t ride on them and treat them with respect! And they love bananas. From the Tortoise Center there is a tracking path to the other side of the island where there was a leprosy help place in former... More

Visit the Island with 2 adults, a 4 and 1,5 year old. Quick and safe boat trip with Sagittarius (good company). Seeing the turtles in 'the wild' was great. You can touch and feet them. Great for the kids as well. To visit the other side of the island and meet the great beach you need to do a trail... More

We did a trip to Curieuse Island with a boat charter company, after leaving Anse Posession on Praslin Island it only takes a few minutes to arrive at Curieuse, we spent some time on the beach before setting off to walk across the Island to the BBQ spot and to see the Aldabra Giant Tortoises, it was a very hot... Just a fantastic place to visit. Have never seen tortoises this size! Just roaming freely for you to walk up to, feed, pet their heads. Great picture taking opportunity. Can stay as long as you like. No rush, have a house with baby tortoises also. Brings out the kid in all of us. Highly recommend this stop!

Depending on the baie you will arrive but you should be welcomed by many big turtles who live on the island. Different than the ones you should see in the water, those ones are slow enough to be able to take selfies with them! All very nice. Respect for them because most of them are more than 100 years old!... More

The island is a natural park which you can only visit on day trips. Both taxi boats and full-day boat tours are quite expensive, like everything in Seychelles after all. Even so you will find quite a lots of tourists on the island, but also many giant tortoises which roam free and love to be fed with crunchy leaves. After... More

We booked a taxi boat without BBQ at Sagittarius for 25 euro plus 200R landing fee. The trip took about 15 min and although Kevin is a fast driver, he is experienced and even when you tend to get sea-sick like my girlfriend the short trip is totally ok. The drop off is at the main bay where a local... More
