I've visited the Galapagos so it's hard to fairly evaluate a rare personal contact with tortoises. It was still a heart-warming experience. A great place to view and come close to the tortoise. The large ones walk freely around, the young ones are kept in cages to prevent from being stolen.

My wife and I loved this trip. We were dropped off by the boat and allowed to learn about the history of the island at the old doctor’s house. It could be brought to life a bit more, but it did contain interesting information. We...More

If you’re planning to go from the one side (where the turtles are) to the other (beautiful beach), wear proper footwear, not flip flops like we did. It took us approximately 40 minutes to cross the island and the heat was unbearable, but when we...More

We went with a rubber boat to the island, therefore we landed just at the beginning of the sand. A bit of wet feet. Not really difficult other than to jump out of the rubber boat with the help of the other people.
