I've been here before and will continue to return as the food and service is excellent. It is a great location to meet friends. The ambiance is excellent to carry on a conversation in private at your table. The wait staff I find most helpful. My experience is most favorable. I plan to stop by for dinner some time too.

The best thing about this place is the physical site. The interior with the beer vats and the high ceilings is kind of cool. The food was "eh!" - I had the steak sandwich and would not recommend it - thickish slices of overdone steak, kind of sad looking lettuce and too thick rye bread. The artichoke and spinach soup... Lots of choices of their own draft beer at the bar in the restaurant, plus a few others. Haven't had a loser yet. Menu is good, too: better than standard bar sandwiches/wraps/burgers plus entrees that go above and beyond. They offer tours of the brewery, growler purchases/refills. They handle special events nicely. Can get very noisy when the place is... More

We like this place a lot. Nice casual atmosphere. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Fresh nice wraps and sandwiches. We had the calamari ( delicious), as a starter. We also tried the French dip sandwich and the Mediterranean wrap. Very good! Nice beer. They offer kids menu as well. Great place to visit with family, friends, coworkers and such even if... More

We visited for lunch on a recent trip, and found the same great beer and good food the place has been serving up for more than twenty years. The building itself, a former water pumping station for the city, is an attraction, with it's early 20th-century industrial look and feel. We recommend the beer, and the place.

Came with a group of about 20 people on a Friday night. Everyone found something on the menu that pleased them, which can be tough with a diverse group. Nice beer selection and people shared a couple of flights to taste the wide variety of beers offered. The only criticism I would have was that a couple of people around... More

My paternal grandmother's maiden name was Evans, in Wales. I guess that give me a natural affinity for the establishment. Food and brews have always satisfied.

It’s a unique old building dating from 1875. It used to be the Albany plumbing house, now a days it’s a nice restaurant which preserves the old time charm.

Enjoyable dining and good varied beer on tap. Friendly staff. Huge portions but for my British taste the beer is too cold but it is very good. Their IPA slips down a treat
