Taiwan HSR is a fast, efficient and comfortable high speed rail service. Took us less than 40 min to reach Taoyuan from Taichung. The Taichung station has some eateries and plenty of public seats. Signages are clear. Ticketing a breeze. Will take the HSR again.

I have been to Taichung HSR station many many time and never have a chance to have meal here. This time I found MOS burger, Royal Host, まいどおおきに食堂, Sushi-Express, Mister Donut, Subway and McDonald. I have tried まいどおおきに食堂 and very satisfied. My experience is next time, I will come early to buy the HSR ticket and have meal before I... More

Is best to be 5-10 minutes ready to wait at the right platform to board your train. It's punctuality is number. If not you will miss your train. Train is clean. Arrival on your location is on time too. Most of all get the bento. It's yummy 😋

This is the best way to travel by far. This train is fantastic. There are 2 options, unreserved seats which are your normal size seats, 3 across and 2 across, and then there is Business class or reserved seats. This is 2x2 seating, nice wide seats, and you are served coffee, water and small snack, line on a airplane. This... More

Many business traveler are rushing and hoping in different high speed rail stations in Taiwan. I found it very convenient to just meet customer in a prearranged conference room inside the station and just find some fast foods inside the station if required.

I can say it's really save time and save money if you want to travel from north to south or west and east. I traveled by THSR from Taichung to Taipei. It's cost me only 700NT and 1 hr. only. This train is very comfortable. You can buy many bento food or fast food and have it on the train... More

This station is large, clean and efficient! There is storage lockers but always remember it's limited in quantity. There is free shuttle right into Taichung city and very close to Fengjia market. The HSR station is also where you catch the bus to SML. There is a package you can buy to SML including transfers and boat and bus ride... More
