If you have kids who loved science, this is the place for them. Aside from a library of natural specimens, the place houses galleries of exhibits. It is best to plan and communicate first to know the exhibit schedules. My sons loved our time together specially with augmented reality slowly being used in museums.

I loved this trip. The museum has a large amount of attractions and exibitions that is for the whole family. With a great gift shop. It is not expensive and can be a good day trip. Not all parts are English but you can still visit and figure it out.

This is not by any means a U.S. type of museum, it's very spread out with not a lot to see. it's not expensive, so if you're bored, it's worth a quick trip. Very kid friendly.

We started late in the morning and immediately regretted five minutes after. The museum is colossal with 2 Imax theaters! We were engrossed by three very educational but interesting movies about space, ocean and forest animals. Of course Da Da Magic World also took up a lot of our daughter's energy. The acclaimed TSMC hall unveiled the secret of semi-conductor... More

This is a big museum with lots of science and culture information. E.g. antique Chinese science machines, dinosaur figures. It is also very spacious. It's a good place to spend at least half a day, especially with kids. There is a Mcdonald's restaurant inside the museum, so meal is taking care of. It is a great indoor activity.

Not that bad. You should have about 3-6 hours to check all exhibits. Part with human doesn't important, nothing new. Plenty of information about China and dinosaurs.

I hope I can show this museum to my grandkids some day. The newer exhibits have signs and explanations in English. There is plenty of multimedia including videos (but not the Space Theater) with English subtitles. To completely explore it would take an entire day, but it is, in my opinion, the top sight in Taichung. Anyone over 65 years... More

We decided to visit this museum before our sun moon lake trip because of the excellent review by others. After viewing level 1, we gave up as the display were too kiddish. We didn't hv high hopes for the rest of the levels so we went to the botanic garden (a greenhouse) opposite the museum. That is a small greenhouse... More

Mediocle. A major update is needed. I'd recommend the museum of science in Taichung, which is more comprehensive.
