The drive through the mountains to reach Lavender Cottage is dangerous. The roads are very narrow, sometimes only wide enough for one car, and there are lots of blind spots and switchbacks. When you arrive, there is a fee to get in. This place is all about lavender. You can purchase lavender-based products and even the food is infused with... More

I like the lavender themed cottage which has a very European feel, all the more cuz I live lavenders. The location is inconvenient without private transport & I hired a driver to drive me there to/from Taichung. There is a stretch of walkway which i find rather steep. Other than that, the entire place gives a dreamy & peaceful atmosphere... More

It is quite far from the city and not easy access by public transport, so we rented a van. The entrance ticket is not expensive and includes two coupons. You can use the coupons when you buy something there. The decorations inside are cute and beautiful. You can take many photos. The lavender ice cream is really nice! I ate... More

A reasonable place to visit with children (aged 6 and 7). But, be prepared to run after them as they dash from station to station for their treasure hunt stamp. Be prepared to walk on slopes and a little hiking. After that, you can enjoy an ice cream - paid for with the entrance coupon. There a carausel, operating at... More

It was reasonably priced as we are able to use the money paid for the entrance for ice-cream and some interesting souvenirs. Lesser amount of lavender than expected but with some nice Sakura Trees.

The Lavender Garden can only be accessed by private car. It's located on a winding hill in Xinshe that boosts of many leisure farms n gardens. We chartered a private car in Xinshe for a day. Entrance ticket is NT100. However, the value can be used to buy food or other items in the park. Due to the cold front,... More

The whole place was laid out and decorated prettily with much details, perfect for families, friends or couples to stroll and relax. It probably isn't the lavender season since I didn't see any lavenders in bloom, but nonetheless my family and I had an enjoyable time walking around. You can use the entrance ticket (100 TWD) as coupons for buying... More
