As a group we booked a Landcover Defender with Roof-Tends from Shaw, Erika and Paul for a week. The whole communication before the trip was absolutely fast and very satisfying - good job. Also the pick up from the Airport went as planned, then we met Erika and Paul at Twiga Lodge. We got a very good coffee and a... More

"I felt the rains down in Africa" Well, actually, we felt only one short rain in the Serengeti but I can't get the theme out of my head (we listened to the song before departing Twiga Lodge). My wife and I wanted to go on an adventure through East Africa, and, through Shaw Safaris, we did experience adventure and more.... More

We experienced a 6-days self-drive safari tour organized by Erika and Paul. The Land Rover was well equiped including a comfortable tent on top of the car. We started from Twiga Lodge at Arusha, passing Ngorogoro crater, Serengeti and Tarangire. We had a perfect time camping and enjoying the wildlife. Thank you for this great experience!

Paul and Erica are fantastic hosts. They are very welcoming and allow you to relax and enjoy the superb location. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. The food is excellent (so is the beer!). Twiga lodge (Shaw safaris) is the perfect place to start and finish your Tanzanian safari experience. If you decide to have Paul and Erica as... More

First of all, Paul and Erika are wonderful hosts. Second, cars are very well kited, in a decent shape and always ready for an adventure. We stayed at their "Twiga Lodge" for couple of nights, which was also lovely. I can warmly recommend them.

We just returned from a 10-day safari tour in Kenya visiting Meru, Samburu and the must-see Masai Mara. Thanks to Twiga for arranging everything and taking good care of us from the time we arrived in Nairobi, during our unforgettable safari game drives and when we left Nairobi at the end of our trip. Wonderful people with great care for... More

Paul & Erika are amazing hosts and they made us feel at home when we stayed at Twiga Lodge. We weren't quite ready to try our own self-drive safari this trip, but they helped arrange an itinerary, accommodations, and a local guide who was very knowledgeable and wonderful. All of their recommendations were great, the parks were all amazing! and... More

We stayed at Twiga Lodge for our honeymoon, and loved everything about it! Paul & Erika are amazing hosts, very knowledgeable, and who make you feel at home instantly. Please see my more detailed review on Twiga Lodge. For the safari, we loved the idea of going off on our own, and while it was a bit scary at first,... More
