Traveling from surat Thani to Phuket and the driver make 10 stops delivering packages, ( even on the side of the highway), and the worst is that was going over the speed limit even in the curves with 14 people and luggages in a minivan !! The problem is the bus we got on to drive 3+ hours was miserable. It was constantly bumping up and down. I was crammed in the back row without being able to lean back. Almost had an accident three times, took over on the wrong side multiple times, ran a few red lights, was speeding the entire way to Khao Sok. Driver should have his license revoked. The company was unpunctual, unfriendly, there is no load securing (=2 expanders) (when braking the luggage flies through the whole interior) & the stops are a clear agreement with the local gas stations. These people are borderline useless and extremely unprofessional. I travelled with them from Ao Nang to Samui. They picked me up from the hotel because I paid for the "transfer" service in which they explicitly said they would pick you up from your hotel. The journey was bad since they actually took us in a van to the Krabi bus station and put us I. A stinky bus where the aircon was barely working. I booked the same "transfer" again with them from Samui. I waited at the hotel and no one showed up. When I called the number they provided in the confirmation email, the number wasn't even functional. So I googled the company and called another number: spoke to a "customer service" woman who was extremely rude, didn't acknowledge any fault, and refused to even offer to reschedule my trip or give refund. To make things worse, I provided both my email and WhatsApp number, and they didn't even bother to contact me prior to the trip. This company is a scam and an example of the worst business practices. The driver was just rude and unpleasant, after shouting at us to sit on specific seats he proceeded to tell us that we would walk to our destination if we did not do as he told us. He then drove to the destination, it was one of the most dangerous bus rides I have ever taken. They made us get off one mini bus, which had turned a 20 minute journey into an hour, to wait for the next which was supposed to be imminent. It was not! We waited for an hour and a half in an un-clean cafe, to then be crammed into the awaited minibus. We booked 2 tickets through their official website for the transfer+bus+ferry from Ao Nang to Koh Pha-ngan. I’ve read a lot of bad comments about the company, so I got nervous and wrote them in WhatsApp to find out about the transfer. The called me back in 5 mins and our guesthouse host explained them where the guesthouse is located. On the departure day they came on time (only 10 mins late, but we were the last ones to pick up, so it happens like this all the time). They dropped us to Krabi office and from there we had a bus (take a roll of tape with you as it can be too cold from AC and you can just close it with tape) to the port. There were no WiFi in the bus, but I do not remember if we were promised to have it. In the port we changed our invoice to the tickets and went to the ferry (it was 20 mins late, there is a WiFi in the ferry). It was one of the best experience in Thailand, no shady places and no additional transfers.

Phantip is the most unorganised shambles of a “company” I have ever travelled with. We got the ferry from Koh Samui via Surat Thani to Phuket as part of our trip booked with Phantip which was fine, as it was operated by a separate entity. However, once we arrived at Surat Thani Phantip provided nothing but horrible service. We arrived in Surat Thani at 1:30 where we were shoved on a small mini van with a stack of suitcases hitting off our heads. We then departed from the pier after waiting for 30 minutes in the van until the van turned around and brought us back to the pier. A man, not wearing any uniform, came up to the van and took out my suitcase stating I now had to pay a fine as my suitcase was too large, despite the van already having departed before with no issue. There were other suitcases on the van and they were not asked to pay. We were then taken off the van, as the man stated that there was “ a miscommunication and the van was no longer travelling to Phuket.” We were then left outside in the rain with no shelter for an hour and a half whilst we were told “a new bus was coming”. After refusing to pay several times for the luggage as no one else with a suitcase the same size was requested to pay, they allowed us onto a bus that had already been waiting at the terminal beside us for the hour, not the bus they asserted us was on the way for an hour and a half. They then dropped us at a random bus terminal in Surat Thani for an additional hour where the staff proceeded to scream at us stating we must pay or they are going to leave us here. They also stated we had to pay as it was a mini bus, even though it was a large bus that was advertised and attached to the ticket we had purchased for this trip. The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude and screamed at us, with one member of staff even saying that we should “ just leave her behind” about a friend part of our travelling group. Our trip stated to be 6 hours and 30 minutes in total but has so far taken 5 hours and we have not departed Surat Thani yet to go to Phuket, which takes 5 hours in total. I would recommend that no one ever travels with this company as they are a complete sham composed of rude and ignorant staff.

Have read a lot of negative reviews about this company and was a bit unsure of what to expect but turned out to be great. hotel pickup was spot on time, minibus transfer from surat thani to the ferry left about 10 mins late but the drive was smooth and uneventful arriving with time to spare and the ferry was only 5 mins late leaving. all up really good

At first it seemed like Phantip knew what they were doing. We had bought tickets departing from the Phantip travel office in Suratthani at 12:00 to be transferred to our hotel in Koh Samui arriving at 16:30. We got to the travel office 40mins early and were issued with ferry tickets and hotel transfer tickets, then lead to a minivan which was quickly filled and we left 30mins before we were scheduled to. This seemed a little odd but there we had no complaints about being early. We arrived at the ferry terminal 20mins before the ferry departed and we were swiftly boarded by the ferry company (separate company). Again no complaints to be had and the ferry journey was pleasant and we arrived at Koh Samui at around 14:30
Everything then started to go wrong. We left the ferry and walked around for some time looking for a Phantip representative to ask about hotel transfer we eventually found one and showed them our tickets and he asked us to wait for a minute as he was waiting for someone. That someone turned out to be another Phantip employee who arrived on a motorscooter 15mins later. We were then told that we actually had to wait for another 30mins as there are people on the next boat that needed transfering. Fine. The next boat turns up an hour later and two more people get on the bus, yet we still don't leave. At the the same time two other Phantip buses arrive and two passengers from our bus were put on one of the other buses and both of these leve within ten minutes of turning up.Half and hour passed before my partner goes to the representatives complaining that we have been waiting for a very long time. Just after 16:00 we leave...for the ln the driver to be called back to pick up a further two people. The journey then was a white knuckle ride as the driver seemed to have no idea how to press the accelerator gently as we nearly rear ended several other cars and motorscooters.
The experience overall was unenjoyable and we arrived at our accommodation one hour after we were scheduled to arrive and were not offered any kind of apology through any part of it. Needless to say we won't be using Phantip again.

I booked a ferry+bus service from Koh Samui to Surat Thani airport.
First of all, their office is hard to find and when I called their Thai number for help it didn't work.
Second of all, my printed e-ticket stated that they will transport you from their office to the pier. I asked them about it, and the lady who worked there just said "No you have to walk".
Third, the total price was around 425 bath when I booked online. At the pier you can buy a ferry+bus ticket for 390 bath.
Don't waste your time or money with this company.

We booked the ticket for Krabi at Koh Samui Nathon pier physically with the concerned representative of Phantip. At that time, he said a minibus will be waiting for us at Donsak pier which will take us to Krabi. We were also assured that we will reach Krabi in 5 hours, i.e. at 3pm however we actually reached after 4.30. We travelled from Donsak to Krabi by a bus of Phantip. Firstly it was changed at Surat Thani and we were asked to shift to the other minibus with all the luggage again. Moreover this bus was around 30min late. Later, during the whole journey the driver stopped the bus around 10-12 times for several reasons. The driver of minibus was not at all apologetic about taking too many stops and being late by 90 minutes at the destination. At one point of time, he purchased a box of smelling Durian fruits and kept it with the passengers. We also missed our lunch due to this unnecessary delay, pathetic service and 1st bad experience in visit to Thailand. So, if you are traveling from Koh Samui to other locations of Thailand, it would be better to travel by air or by sharing cab with others rather than using services of Phantip.

I had trouble with an online reservation and asked for their comprehension to adapt the erroneous reservation. I called 5 times and asked 10 times at the lady at the airport desk and they never made any effort to help me, knowing I would use Phantip for at least 4 transits in the area.
They only want money. Hard to encounter such a behaviour after spending 3 weeks on the North of Thailand...

I don’t understand where all the bad reviews are coming from. We used this service from Krabi bus station to Koh Samui and it couldn’t have been better. We couldn’t fault them. They were on time, everything ran smoothly and they dropped us to the hotel door. All transport was comfortable / in good condition. And all for only £20pp (841pp THB) For reference a taxi in Ko Samui from Lamai beach to the airport (13km) is 700 THB. We will definitely use them again. Thanks very much Phantip.

It is surprising that Phantif luggage policy is not mentioned when you book ticket. I am traveling feom Donsak Pier to Phuket. I have 2 luggages with me. So when I reach the bus, the person over there asks me give 300baht for extra luggage. On asking anything, he replies rudely. Says, "dont go if you don't pay for luggage". @phantiftravels If this is Phantif policy, it ll be much better if you mention the same while booking or else check if your drivers are making money this way. Disappointed!

Terrible Service over all, their transfer from Surat Thani Airport to Khao Sok and back is pretty much none existence. The vans that operate that route have no connection with them. We lost our money and their customer service over the phone was flat out rude lady. Rather then helping us find a ride, she pretty much told us F off over the phone, even though we had purchased tickets online the day before. So we ended up paying the van company to give us a ride.
