Plenty of car parking, 300bht per person to get in. The trail is well trodden and quite walkable but it’s hilly from the start and totally unsuitable for either wheelchairs or pushchairs. I’m not really sure if you should be taking small children on foot...More

This is one of the most beautiful places in Thailand. I can really recommend one day trekking through the jungle and cave. Go and enjoy.

If you think of going, make the extra effort and book a two or more days trips in to the jungle (bungalows and camping trips available). You could get an experience without a night but it is exponentially better to spend some time in the...More

We stayed for two days and one night, on an organized trip which is the only way to stay in the park the scenery is so beautiful, layers of misty mountains as back drop, rain forest in the foreground, all reflected in the still waters...More

Loved this park and the raft houses on the lake! We stayed at Our Jungle House raft houses. Highly recommended. We also visited one of the many waterfalls, hiking this waterfall was one of the highlights of our trip. 👌🏽

We were so worried about leeches and other wild animals. But the trail wee was marked clearly and even wide enough to take our baby stroller about 2.5 km. Playing in the river close to the park entrance was also a highlight of the day...More

Karen P
Hello We have never left Europe and usually do typical Spanish holidays. With my husbands 50th in April he wants to go somewhere with some culture and has chosen Thailand. I’m struggling knowing where to start but one thing I do know is that we all would love to go somewhere like Elephant Hills in Khao Sak. But it’s dreadfully expensive. We don’t and won’t go anywhere where the elephants are not looked after in a positive and loving way. Does anybody know if you can go to see the elephants in Ele Hills without paying their extreme costs? Or are there other lovely places we can go to,for a few days, to experience the National Park and maybe see some other animals including elephants. Must be kind to the animals. Do not wish to see animals chained up. Hope you can help. Thanks. Karen ps if you fancy helping me plan my first real trip, feel free to offer advice on resorts too ! Thinking of Khao Sak?
