It might not easy to go there by public transportation, but you should visit this place if you come to Chiangrai. Reading the history before coming here could make more impression.

This pagoda is on a hill called "Doi Tung" which is a historical area. The pagoda was believed built almost 2000 years ago just after the death of the Lord Bhudda.
