Ate here a couple of times, had a couple of dubious meat and rice dishes, not too bad, but the wonderful soup from the stall right at the back on the left was superb. For £1 it was also well priced. As for the other products on sale, the usual same old, but i still like to look ☺

The stalls are fine, you can find some stuff unique for the region, also the food court in the back (the one where locals eat) is exceptional, but you have to watch out, because prices for some things vary from stall to stall quite much - for example for a thai pot you can pay 120 B in one place... See and eat a variety of food as well as shop for all your souvenirs--bargain hard though! Worth a visit if looking for dinner.

Nice market. In the center of town a bustling night market with good venders and a great food market. The "food court" is a large area with tables and a stage for music. Lots of yummy choices. Try the traditional northern sausage.

If you want to eat well and cheap, this is the place to be. With a night market all around, the night bazar is a good place to spend your hot evenings.

Small market. Nice to visit if you have nothing else to do. Nothing special to buy. Nice dining area with shows in the evening.

Had a wander round the night market and had something to say at oasis. The market is a bit of a tourist trap but it fits the bill and isn't expensive. Always a bit of entertainment going on at the market on the stage, which makes it fun. If you're up in Chiang rai spend a couple of hours late... More

Worth a visit if you are in Chiang Rai. The bazaar is reasonably sized, catering mostly for tourists. The usual selection of tshirts and other local gifts are sold throughout the bazaar. It can get busy, but nothing like the similar markets in other cities, such as Chiang Mai. It certainly feels much more laid back here. There is a... More
