This is one of the oldest temple in Haytai still standing and is always on the rebuilding side. Many devotees will go and pray and donate for the rebuilding of this temple. Nothing much to see as only devotees will patronise.

This sleeping buhda is located in the city centre. There are 2 sleeping buhda in Hat Yai and this is the older and smaller version. There is a new bigger sleeping buhda at songkla as well which is an hour drive away from city area.

More than decades, Wat Hat Yai Nai is the heart of Hat Yai and Hat Yai people. The reclining Buddha previous placed in the open area and now under the roof with the underground room for showing the historic photos of this temple. You can free eels, fish and turtles at the back of this Wat.

Reach the temple at 12pm and no tourists at all. The temple is not well maintain. Can see a lot of bird poop on the Buddha. Nothing much there. Advice to skip this attraction Only 3km away from city center.

The temple grounds are a bit of a mess due to some renovations, the only thing that impressed me was the Buddha, its the biggest reclining buddha I have seen in Thailand. Trip advisor map is wrong.. located here 7.003293, 100.455044

One of the most prominent temple around in Hat Yat. The place was well kept and clean. Do go in through the back and there is a small temple inside / underneath the main statue.

Nothing much to see. Just pray and take some pics of the sleeping Buddha. Spent 10 min here and off we go to the next place.

With the size it projects, the Buddha was so huge that even to climb it, you need to rappel. The details to Buddha was not that much. The Buddha is more of a smiling one rather than a serious or in meditating state. The place was huge considering there was a mausoleum in the bottom. I don't like to enter mausoleum... More
