As from 1st October 2017 we are proud to announce that trekking will no longer be offered at Hutsadin, instead we offer our visitors a range of activities that promote a close interaction with our elephants. In a safe environment for both elephant and visitor. Here you can take a bareback ride, walk with an elephant, shower and feed them or simply visit us. We also offer educational talks 3 days a week and a 3 hour mahout experience is available twice a week. Check out our website activities page where you will find full descriptions of the activities that we offer along with costs.

Enjoyed this Elelphant foundation a lot. Staff are very friendly with lots of volunteers from many different countries. Was able to walk, ride, feed and wash the Elephants. Bareback riding only no cage. Well worth a visit.

So glad that you enjoyed your visit and walk with our youngest elephant. However I think there is some confusion as we don't have a 3 year old elephant - Song Kran is 10 years and 3 months. Still totally adorable :)

I would recommend a taxi or tuk tuk, there are no buses. If you are asking how long the journey should take - I would say 10 - 15 minutes depending on traffic.

We only charge for the activity that you choose to do, so prices vary. I'm afraid we are no longer to give the free tour. Check out our website, address on this page and go to the activities page for our options :)
