The main beach of Hua hin is very busy, and quite narrow, backed by the stone walls of resorts and homes. Suan Son Pradipat Beach is south of Hua Hin – a 200 baht taxi ride. Taxis will usually drop you at the part of...More

It's a nice day trip from Hua Hin to Suan Son Pradipat Beach. We took the train to Pradipat (15 minutes) and we walked back to Hua Hin. Compared to Hua Hin it was quiet and natural, space enough. The sand is yellow with reosonable...More

This beach starts just south of Kao Takiap, Suan Son itself is actually about 1 km further down. I've known the place for 20 years and now that I live in Hua Hin, I walk and run here with my Beagle almost every day. The...More

I remember (just) Hua Hin from my childhood in the 1970's and this beach is pretty much how Hua Hin would have looked before the developers moved in. There are no big hotels, just low level huts nestled in pine groves, a buddhist community and...More

We took up the train tour to Suan Son Pradipat Beach. It is not so crowded a beach but not as amazing as Koh Larn but worth seeing. It is tidy but has those small creatures (white) that come up from the holes of the...More

I went at the weekend so the central area was busy with thai families but if you wanted peace and quiet it was still possible to walk 100 metres or so north or south and be virtually alone. There was a fabulous food market near...More

Soan Son is easy to find as it is opposite the entrance to Rajabhakti Park on the southern end of Hua Hin. There is plenty of parking and privacy for a beach picnic. There is an informal restaurant offering Thaifood only.

My first best impression is vintage design of Suan Son Pradipat Train Station. From the train station is walking distance to Suan Son Pradipat Beach. The beach is nice, clean and well maintained. A troop of social workers and army always come to maintain the beach.

Suan Son Praditput beach has clean and peaceful atmospere. Water and sand is good for my kids(3.5 y and 10 m.) to play. If you stay at Seapine Hotel, beach at this hotel is less people than other public zone.
