“Don’t go! It’s just a tree! It’s not worth the long drive.” Wait what? Yes, at the end of the day, a tree is a tree! But darn! This one is huuuuge— not in height, but the canopy which is more than 100 meters across!...More

It is only a short drive from Kanchanaburi but the scenery and the spectacle of this magnificent tree are well worth the trip. surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds, it is a serene place to stop for a picnic or just meet with some friends.

I just read a review and it says "it's a tree and it's big" and they are 100% right. But it brought a smile and a chuckle to our group. We enjoyed taking pics in the giant photo frame near the tree and amusing ourselves...More

The tree is certainly big and so impressive. It's a nice place to visit, but nothing is really around that tree (and the place is quite far from the city). My advice would be to do the cave and few other cute places on the...More

It is well worth seeing this tree with its huge expanse and unique roots. There are few kiosks next to it but no formal restaurants

We just had a short stop at this tree as we had to pass anyway. You can hardly imagine how big this tree is, but it is not a must see.

It's not too far out of town, 15-20 minute motorbike. You need to follow the signs there and if you get lost, ask a local, " tone mai yak you tee nai khrap/ka" It's definitely cool. The trunk and branches are truly massive. But it's...More

So cool to have seen this big giant tree. It's very well maintain, felt cool under it. Not far from the main city, and have place where can buy something to drink or eat. No regret in choosing to visit that one. Worth to see.

Well a run out on a motor bike, about 15-20 mins from centre of kanchanaburi, couple of places to gets drink and snacks, buy some sundried chillies, the tree is unbelievably massive, maybe 70-80 or even 100 meters across, good place to chill for an...More

If you are in this part of town and have access to a scooter/private car I would definitely recommend a visit. It is indeed giant, and provides a great place for photos.
