This was part of a 'jungle tour ' arranged by a local travel agent in Krabi and was absolutely the highlight. The crystal waters and changing mineral pools are just magical, and I have only really seen something similar in China. The actual Emerald pool itself is the only one you can swim in, be careful as very slippery entering and... More

I had specifically selected this your for our honeymoon trip and it turned out to be a great choice.. It was a 1.4 km long walk up to the pool.. But it was well worth it.. The water is crystal clear.. And it even rained while we were in the pool.. A must try when in krabi..

We pay a visit on our return from Koh Lanta while we are on our way to Krabi Airport for a late evening flight. From Hua Hin Ferry Pier, it took us an hour drive with the help, of course, GPS Navigation. The entrance is pretty nice but once we are on the 1400 meters trail thru the forest ,... More

We went to the emerald pool, hot springs and the tiger temple as a one day trip. We were staying in Krabi town so it's didn't take too long to get there at all. We were picked up at 9am and back by 16:30 so still had the evening to enjoy too. The tour company was called Cattery travel and... More

Walking 2-3 miles through the dense area is definitely worth to find this pool there. The pool do have that beautiful colour, per its name. The clear water of the pool is calm and inviting for a dip in it. The water in the pool flows down from the blue pool (uphill) which again is a definite visit. Only thing to... More

Lots of these reviews say how crowded the pools were, do yourself a favour and skip the tours. They're advertised everywhere and they all arrive to the pools at the same time, which is why it's so crowded. We hired a mini-bus between 5 people and it cost us 400 baht each (much less than the tour). We still got... More

Allow plenty of time to enjoy the refreshing water and admire the beauty of its setting. It's well worth the uphill walk to the blue pool too. We drove there from Ao Nang. It would be a bit much on a scooter I would think

This place was somewhat hard to find by motorbike, but it really was worth it once you got there. Luckily for us it was sprinkling, so we essentially had the pool to ourselves for a while. Great fossils at the bottom too! Entrance fee is 200 BHT per person, and there area few shops outside to browse through before your... More
