It was an authentic experience, not my thing at all but worth it for the cultural exposure. Can be quite violent, but then it is a combat sport

My 10-year-old daughter and I went to watch some Thai boxing. It was an enjoyable evening out. The stadium is quite small so you can get close to the action. The atmosphere was good and there was some fighting going on. We would visit again.

Loved it, they are so skilled and great atmosphere. The girls fight very hard. Would definitely go again.

Had a fantastic night out at Patong stadium! I was initially dragged there by my boyfriend, but soon found myself reeled in by the excitement of the matches. We had a great view from our ringside seats (we were advised by our tour agency not...More

Definitely a stop for a tourist. Although they looked as though they were fighting an actual fight, they are nearly always fixed. There are touts coming round asking whether you would like to bet, but they will tell you who you can bet on. Almost...More

We had a great night at the boxing in Phuket. The food was cheap (I love popcorn) and the alcohol was well priced. It was a little difficult to watch the children rounds, however, they were so friendly and supportive of one another at the...More

What would a trip to Thailand be without going to see Thai boxing. Paid for the VIP package which included van pickup and drop off. The seats here were much more comfortable than Bangla boxing stadium. Similar setup with kids, teens, girls, and mens fights....More

I booked this night out before we arrived in Thailand, online, and I’m glad I did. I dealt directly with the stadium, they kept in contact with me even checking in with me on the day. They arranged to send their own transport to pick...More

Great night out. Grandstand seats (I personally don't think you need VIP - unless you turn up very late!). Liked the whole thing. A couple of mismatches; of couple of great fights; a couple of dubious ones - but I wash over that. All in...More

Depends where you buy it. $65 for stadium seating. $55 if you buy it online from apps such as klooks. The shows last for 3 hours

When I was there in September it was open every other night (alternating with Bangla boxing stadium). There are lots of posters on the streets to tell you which stadium is open each night.
