I booked this tour through Club Med so will be advising them of my disappointment. The kids enjoyed it for the most part but the driver of our elephant hit him with the stick and my daughter nearly cried. He only did it once but that was enough. I am disappointed in myself that we did this because when we... More

These people take these elephants. Prod them. Hook them. Beat them into submission. Deprive them and work them for hours in the hot sun. Please stop supporting this. Please go to phuket elephant sanctuary and learn something about these beautiful animals and their pain.

This was listed as the last stop on a short tour I booked with phuket Travel company (for the purpose of seeing the big Buddha and the Chalong temple). So I planned to leave the group before going here. It was the first stop and as heartbreaking as I expected. More so. Monkeys, sheep, parrots and probably more animals, all... More

I never expect that that they will treat some elephant this way with sharp iron rot . Poor elephant they must suffer to be treated this way. If you go there , just buy them banana only not trekking on them. I feel guilty to have ride on that poor elephant. Will never do again. And about the trekking ,... More

I was warned by a friend months before we came here. Since we've nothing to do we tried the elephant trekking but it was heartbreaking to see how they treat their elephants just for them to earn money. I saw one elephant with wound on it's head, could not help but asked what happend and if they are treating the... More

We came to Phuket for our honeymoon, and decided to give this tour the benefit of doubt. Poor elephants. Upon arrival there was a baby elephant chained to the ground at check in. One of the kids was punching the elephants trunk, and the poor animal looked so unhappy. I went up to pet the baby, and she gently wrapped... More

Out of the 9 days we spend in Phuket, this was by far the worst thing we did. The moment you enter the area, it feels strange. It`s like you are being watched and held at gunpoint. Elephant ride was short, with no views and very dangerous. The road was muddy, slippery, with very sharp cliffs, thus giving you the... More

We paid for a 30 min trek. The path offered was through a dingy area with litter and no views. The rain pummeled us, our elephant driver wanted inflated prices to sell his wares and threatened if we didn't buy from him it would mean bad luck for our family. Go elsewhere!
