It is wonderful to be able to visit a place such as this where the, Elephants and indigenous species are able to live their lives in totally natural surroundings without having to perform, nor undergo any stressful, painful or enforced training. The Park was rescued from business's and Landowners by the Late King Rama IX, (who has done so much... More

We drove from Hua Hin ourself and it was very easy with good roads all the way. Takes about 90 minutes. Don't arrive too early as the tours by pickup trucks only start at 2 PM and we didn't see any animals until gone 4. Having said that we saw several elephants with little ones very close up and the... Kui Buri National Park undoubtedly is best place in Thailand to see elephants in the wild, making it a great wildlife safari destination. And besides elephants, I have a reasonable chance to see the world's largest wild cattle species, the Gaur. On 25 March 2017; I managed to make a trip there by renting car transfer service with driver from... More

We did the overnight elephant stay as others have said truly amazing the highlight of out stay in Thailand . What an oppertunity to up see these beautiful creatures in their natural environment whist supporting the local community. The second day we did the early morning walk , pick up at 6.30, for a four hour treck , loved every... More

Kui Buri National Park. Located about 1-1/2 hour south of Hua Hin, it is serviced by travel agencies in Hua Hin, or you can make y4our own arrangements. It is a place where elephants roam free and you can see other animals too. We rented a car, which was 920 baht at Budget. The agencies charge 1500 to 2000 baht/person,... More

Ill keep it short: the trip we had was crazy cool. We booked a 2-day trip with 1 overnight stay. The first day we drove into the national park and visited a few spots to spot wildlife. At the second stop we stayed for almost 2 hours, watching an elefant herd of around 30 elefants with their babies. Im a... More

Trips into this beautiful park are run mostly at 14:00 and 16:00. you must go into the park with a guide in a open backed truck and you must obey the guidelines. We drove into the park and despite the best efforts of the guides found nothing more than a deer. I looked around whilst at one of the dis-mounting... More

Well, it was over 2 years since my last visit, but we went yesterday with a friend. No reductions getting into the park yesterday for showing a Thai driving licence, but showing my Thai ID card, and my wife explaining that I was delivering business to the park swung it, and I still paid the Thai rate for admission to... A very exciting adventure. You go by a jeep in a beautiful landscape. The staff cover a large area and communicate with walkie-talkies to find the elephants. Finally after some sight-seeing in the forest we did see some elephants, two adults and a calf. We highly recommend going there.

You are taken out in a jeep with a guide. We also had our driver's 2 year old granddaughter. Fabulous as we had my 2 year old granddaughter with us! Our first glimpse of an elephant was about 5 minutes in. Most of the males were in musth so solitary, but were not a problem, as they have the freedom... More
