We have visited Sukorn Beach bungalows since Dick and Dee first started it, and loved the place. It was therefore a sad day when they sold it, and it changed name to Yaata Resort. This year my husband and I said among ourselves that may be this would be the last year to come back. But we have changed our... More

I loved this place...went for a couple of days and spent more tan a week. Nicest people I met in thailand (althought they are not the smiling kind of thais you expect). Not much developed place quite isolated from the rest of the country. Ideal to explore the surrounding islands in a fishing boat (sharing a day with real fishermen!),... More

Sukorn is a great place to go if your looking for a relaxed island with atmosphere and authenticity. The people are very friendly and loves to show the old handcrafts that are still the main occupation for most of the locals. The island is not overrun; When we went there, we didn't meet a tourist for the first 4 days... More

The place Koh Sukorn Beach Bungalow has a new owner. It said on their HomePage that no children was allowed. That is a lie. And the new owner is building about 20 new bungalows so it is not calm och quite. Our Friends stayed here last year and them come this year to. They where very sad to see that... More

This is a really nice and autentic island. Not too touristy yet and very nice locals. It has brown sand on the beaches but they are still very beautiful, I dont understand how people can give this island a bad vote only because of the colour of the sand on the beach. I can definitely recommend this place!

This would be a great little island if it weren't for the sand, which is brown and coarse. Better off staying on Lao Liang just a few miles away

This island is fantastic. My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here and loved every minute of it. Definitely off the beaten track (the woman in the tour office didn't want to sell us the tickets because 'the sand is brown, I'm afraid you won't like it'). She couldn't have been more wrong. We had a fabulous time, rented a... More

Koh Sukorn is the place where you can see Water Buffaloes roaming the rice fields, friendly Island inhabitants and a little bit of Tourism. Koh Sukorn can also be a good starting point to explore other islands of the andaman ocean. It is possible to rent private Long Tail boats to the nearby islands in the province.
