Spend some time in it and take in Alanya’s coastline. Don’t walk on the sand with nothing on your bare feet in the summer months- it gets broiling hot.Visited July 2023Written 22 July 2023

The beach is more small Stone than sand and has a sudden drop into the water so need to be careful of little ones. Views are beautiful with a Sunset though.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 September 2023
- Amanda LRotherham, United Kingdom2 contributionsBeautifulThe beach is just across a busy road, and each hotel has an allocated area of sunbeds and brollies, and a beach bar, that's all free, well we were all inclusive, so maybe that's why? The views from the beach are beautiful, with mountains to one side and Antalya town, the marina and castle to the other. We stayed at The Monart City Hotel, it was lovely and clean, the food had a good variety of local and English, free icecream from 12pm to 5pm, again maybe just for all inclusive, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the outdoor pool in the middle was a little cold but at the same time needed as the weather was very hot. My sister and I had a Turkish bath and it was a lovely experience, not to be missed! We also had an experience day out, which was absolutely amazing, jeeps, white water rafting, zip lines and quad bikes, lunch included, but not drinks oddly? all for €35 bargain! Antalya town is very clean, a beautiful marina, lots of shops, bars and restaurants, to choose from, again all very welcoming, if you're thinking of going to Turkey, do it!Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 October 2023

Beautiful clean beach with plenty of beach clubs with sun loungers. Nicely situated by the cable car going up to the castle close to town. Soft sand with crystal clear water - amazing array of fish easily visible with snorkel attracted to the shallow reef.

Recently we spent 10 days in Alanya. September 2 - 12.2023. Xperia hotel was located maybe 150m from the Kleopatra beach and we spent every day, whole day there. We consider Kleopatra beach to be one of the nicest ones we have ever experienced! Trust me, we visited quite a few.
Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Playa del Carmen (Mexico), Cosumel (Mexico), Marina el Cid (Mexico), Lido beach (Sarasota, Florida), Hvar, Split, Sevid, Primosten (Croatia), Siesta beach (Sarasota, Florida), South Beach (Miami, Florida), Key West (Florida) … and others.
Kleopatra beach is an absolute gem! It is kilometers long. It has fine gravel which feels better than sand. Crystal clear sea, warm to perfection. You can rent a sunbeds and umbrellas. As a Xperia guests we got that every day for 50 TL each. So 2 sunbeds and umbrella set us for 150 TL each day. That is about 5.5 dollars or Euros. There is restaurant/bar at the beach called Number one and there you can have expensive coffee, drinks, small meals and enjoy WiFi that was very useful.
Two days in row we were joined by local stray dog that dug up a hole besides our sunbeds and lied down into our shade. Our furry friend was quiet and polite like all dogs and cats in Turkiye. Young waiter from nearby restaurant brought in an extra umbrella and water for dog. I can honestly say that we never saw people to treat stray dogs and cats friendly like Turks. It tells you a lot about people when you see how they treat animals, right?
Back to the beach. There are a few things that we didn't like.
1. Massive number of flies, especially in the morning. I spent considerable time swatting flies. So annoying. It is nobody's fault, just saying.
2. Every morning around sunbeds there are hundreds of cigarette butts. To me, as non-smoker that is disgusting. I don't think it is done by tourists as I barely saw anybody smoking at the beach. It must be locals gathering late evening.
3. Near Numberone restaurant there are changing cabins. I used them every day when leaving for lunch and coming back from lunch. Cabins are simple, wooden and they do the job. However, that was disgusting experience since they reeked of urine. Was it me standing in wet, urine floor or maybe even walls were soaked I can't tell. But for unknown reason some people use changing cabins as a washrooms. I tried to wash them with nearby hose but hose wasn't long enough.
That is about all about Kleopatra beach. You must be there to enjoy it and experience it. We were there fist time around New Years and actually bathed in sea that was around 19 deg. C. Still it was nice experience. Sea is clean and clear. When we go back to Turkiye we will definitely go back to Alanya and Kleopatra beach.

We are 2 couples who usually go Spain/Greece. We thought we'd try Turkey as we've never been & it was a reasonable price. We weren't expecting 5 star for what we paid & a few reviews looked like confirming it.

Our room with sea view
Air-conditioning fabulous & needed
Weather fabulous, especially after the summer we've had.
Restaurants outside near lots of choice
Staff were very helpful if they could understand.
Disliked
2hr transfer in taxi, bus 3hrs
No ice cream in an all inclusive hotel
Not just kids like ice cream
Drinks served in very small glasses. No room for ice
(no slice )
Restaurant, you could always find something to eat, but not varied. Plenty of salad. Food not labelled so didn't always know what it was.

Just departing this nightmare hotel never ever believe what they advert first its dirty and very old hotel everything falling in pieces
Second the food is the same everynight sardines and chicken prepared in similar way without flavours
The service is very bad and the staff very rude
Wifi is very weak
Not enough sun beds for even the 10 % of customers
No no entertainment
We had to pay our dinners almost every night out as the food disgusting
The reception not helpful only one waiter spoke English
Stray dogs and cats with diseases always begging around your table during tje meals
I even filmed a stray dog entering the reception which never close its doors and is hot as hell the customers gather around miserable air conditioner the orphan one in the whole lobby trying to cool down and most of the guests if not ill of stomach bug are having allergies to the food as there are no labels to the food
The health and safety on this hotel is poor
There are two swiming pools but no lifeguards lol even though they are deep
Never again this hotel it doesn’t worth a two stars

Beach is ok and the service provided by the staff at No. 19 is excellent.
But there is small plastic pieces in the water- I guess that’s coming from the Tourist boat’s- which sail close to the shore
The promenade at the beach is very nice
