Nothing really impressive...just the ruins of an old mosque,surrounded by a fence.Placed in a picturesque area,in old town,Kaleici.

If it is on your right this will be Hadrian's gate direction, on your left will be Hidirlik Kulesi direction. And yes, long interesting story/history is included)

Roman Temple - Byzantine Church - Mosque; thought provoking (same God/s?). Site is closed by you get rather good glimpses through the fences.

At the old city during walking in the narrow streets you suddenly stop in front of a historical nice intersting place.

Very calm and peaceful inside. No crowds and easy access for any tourists. It is walking distance from the Town Center into Old Town.

Once I have prayer inside the Mosque, I found something different than any historic Mosque in the world because its authentic building and like any other Ottoman Mosque its has a beautiful minaret and little garden around.

One of the many minarets dotting the old city area. Kecik means broken. The minaret though broken is pretty good piece of architecture. There is a run down basilica next to it. Worth a look if you are passing by. There is no entrance fee....More
