The items in this small Museum in the Roman Bathhouse at Side are some of the best we have ever seen in Turkey. The garden area contains the run-of-the-mill monuments but inside there's quality statuary, superb coins, lovely glass and some burials. At 10 Turkish Lira for entry this is a genuine bargain. You can easily spend an hour here.

Was worthy to visit, with more time I would have preferred the Museum in Istanbul, but it would be for the next time I go to Turkey!

If you fancy a break from the heat of the summer then you could do a lot worse than heading here. It provides a good reminder of the historic past of Side and why it was such an important piece of the Roman Empire. Of course the ampitheatre is a must too. Hopefully all the tourist money will allow the... More

Small and well informed museum of artifacts, statues and relics. Good selection of pottery and everyday instruments that were used.

Side museum is a very nice, interesting and informative little museum which exhibits some of the priceless findings in the surroundings. Placed in the ruins of Side the museum creates a unique atmosphere. The museum was the original baths (thermals) in the roman city part. There are some excellent findings and interesting untold stories in the Side Museum.

Very nice museum housed in the rebuilt baths. Great selection of status and other exhibits with info boards in Turkish, German and English. The rooms are just as important and impressive but the only info we could find was a board outside by the toilet block. Only costs 10tl to get in and there is toilets and a small shop.... More
