The most amazing place I've ever seen!

It looks like out of a fairy tale! It's almost unreal and to imagine that people have lived (and still live) inside this chimneys makes the experience even more fantastic!

If you wanna feel like in a different fairy tale place stop here. Also possible to reach by public transportation. Public bus going every hours, from Goreme it is Avanos direction.

We joined a local tour agency and traveled to different locations and Fairy Chimneys was our first stop. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. He explained geological formations and local history. Very interesting. Different from everything we have seen anywhere else. Enjoyed a fresh pomegranate juice by tour bus stop. Great opportunity for pictures.

This is a good sight seeing and can be included in your daily tour program. U only need a couple of minutes to spend there not more. If ur guide is well experienced he can easily include it in a one day tour. I recommend Ibrahim from Aydinli Cave hotel who really entertained us all the way during our stay

These are volcanic rock formations. The best view on them is when flying on a balloon (there are many companies in the region providing this attraction).

great place to wander around and look at the rock formation. nice place for kids, they might need a little help walking on the paths. Good shoes which have good grip are helpful. Let your imagination wander as you walk among the rocks and see if you can find the camel, the dolphin, Mary or the open hand. no tour... More
