About
Kervan Carpet & Kilim was established in 1978 by my father. We sell old and antique carpets woven in Anatolia in the same manner as they been have for centuries. Our source for these carpets is often from wedding dowries and those handed down from our ancestors. All carpets use natural vegetable dyes,unlike others sold commercially which are not of good quality.

Awesome shop! The owner was very thoughtful and kind, explained everything in amazing detail. Prices are not too bad compared to other shops. Have a really nice variety aswell! Would highly recommend and trust me we saw ALL of the carpet shops in Cappadocia. We ending up buying a beautiful patch work carpet ( cute baby kitten aswell )

I bought 3 carpets from Mr Ibrahim while on a short holiday in Goreme. He has a huge variety and they are very reasonably priced. I found he gave good advice and knows his carpets and was never pushy about selling them to me.
He even shipped them to my hotel in Istanbul in just under 2 days saving me the hassle of extra baggage.
If you find time between outdoor activities and are looking for good well priced carpets in Cappadocia then pay Mr Ibrahim a visit. Highly recommended.

Unique place where you can find locally made carpets as original (handmade with certain age Amazing carpets from wool, cotton or both 🙌) as from the factory for fair price. The owner Ibrahim is a great person who knows lots of about technics and original design and history of carpets. Thank you for kind service and inviting atmosphere ☀️

If you have decided to buy a Turkish carpet and are in Goreme then this is the place to go! Lovely staff, great recommendations and what a knowledge about carpets! Wow! When I ended up choosing a carpet little over my initial budget they showed me cheaper options too. I think the prices are fare and you have heaps of optionst in different price range.
My carpet was packed nicely so I could take it to the plane with me.

This is the best store we visited in Cappadokia, very good prices to buy carpets or kilims or tablecloths. The owner is amazing and friendly and helpful made our day! He offered us also apple tea and the possibility to get photos in his store with traditional clothes.

Best carpet shop in Cappadocia. Ibrahim was very welcoming and knowledgeable and took the time to explain how the carpets are made and the different types etc. We were also offered Turkish tea on the house. Highly recommend.

We are so happy to find our Hereke rug and kilim patchwork here! The owner, Ibrahim, is very knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. Highly recommend this rug store, and we went to plenty in Goreme. Lots of choices and great prices too!

Honesty, kindness and knowledge. Ibrahim has a fabulous selection, fair prices, and spent time demonstrating how to look for quality rugs. The history of rugs and how they are made. Our kids had a great time in his shop, he was very kind to them, and they especially enjoyed the apple tea. Definitely our favorite rug shop in the area.

We know Ibrahim already for 2 months. He has the best quality of carpets that we saw in Cappaocia. We truly recommend his shop and he will help you to make the right choice. Also if you want pictures, he has a perfect place.

If you want to buy good quality carpets then go see Mr Ibrahim.
Friendly, knowledgeable and never pushy.
We got a good deal on 4 carpets and had them delivered at no extra cost to Istanbul.
The delivery to our hotel was quick and hassle free.
Highly recommended.
