Historical Church Amongst the Sights at Hierapolis

While cruising around Hierapolis it is fun exploring all the places inside. This is a fairly well kept church worth seeing along the way.

If you have travelled and seen a lot of greco roman sites, this Hierapolis will not do anything for you. But as we are all there to visit the hot water springs and Hierapolis is connected to it, you might as Well have a stroll and see Some graves and remains of buildings. Don't go there with a tour! How they built this with the tools they had is nothing short of amazing! Very good example and well worth the time to explore.

The history of the whole Hierapolis site is extensive and happens under many different governants and religions. We traveled by car to the top of the place very close to the church and then we... How on earth did they manage to carve, transport and build such massive blocks of stone into such a wonderful building! I hope it remains standing, it does look a little precarious! Now fenced off.
