Walking along the promenade with the sea cobbling against the embankment is relaxing. The view over the sea is entirely relaxing. My wife and I am walk from kordon boyu to main arena. this is nice place to walk . I seen a lot people fishing . Only bad things their rubbish every where they are not clkean their rubbish another thing bin s every where.

Get yout booze and lay on the grass with a friend with a guitar; or read your book on the grass by the seaside. Amazing plot for friends to have quality time together. You may also rent a bike by the seaside to enjoy this nature.

The zone of "Kordonboyu" -which means along the line- is one of the best urban places to visit in Izmir. Kordonboyu is a zone which run along the coastal part of the District Alsancak (vis a vis Karsiyaka). If you want romantic promenade-walks while the sun kisses the ocean this is one of the two best places in Izmir to watch the sunset. You can watch the fishermen and buy seeds to feed the birds. On foot, by bicycle, or even by car, it is the sea-side end of the city of Izmir. A must-walk in Izmir.
