The beautiful rose garden in front gives you just a hint as to the beauty inside. This rather smallish Orthodox Church has an unbelievable interior with gold leaf applications. There are several icons and a magnificent chandelier.

This classic church is simple on the outside but beautifully decorated inside. It is located in a park lined with multi colored roses. Just s few minutes away from the Yavernitsky Museum. Combine the two visits for a nice few hours.

23 Dec 2016, right after arriving in Kiev, I went to Dnipro and saw this golden domed gorgeous cathedral!) The top of the dome rests the Ukrainian Flag, then the building itself looked like the memorial of Lincoln. All good)

I visited this Orthodox church as it was close to my hotel in Dnipro. It was a nice and beautiful church and a well worth of visit if you have time.

Some excellent icons and other art, if you're interested, and I am. Quiet, and well-worth a short stop.

It was very nice to learn more about the history about the people and this city. There is so much impressive history here. I can recommend that you book some local guide, in our case a young student to show you around this area.

One of the rare places in the city where the cathedral and the adjacent area is well kept, preserved and maintained. It's gorgeous in winter when covered with snow which is in striking contrast to gold cross, but it's even better in April just before...More

After being spoiled in Kiev with lovely churches there are fewer here in Dnipropetrovsk but for my money this is the best of them - and is well worth a visit to admire its beauty inside.
