It is certainly worth the drive, especially at night where you can see the lights of Al Ain city spread across the land. this is a popular family picnic spot, so be ready to lurk for a good place to set and set up a shisha. the restaurant leaves much to be desired so it's best to bring your own... We went around 15:00 to the mountain. We stopped once at a view point and took some photo's. We stopped at the Mercure hotel. Go inside the hotel and go outside to the restaurant and pool area. Here we took sunset photo's. Food are well prepared and isn't that expensive. Make sure you're not in a hurry.

It's a thrilling drive to the top of Jabal Hafeet. The view from 1240 mts up from the sea level is quite amazing. A perfect place to enjoy the winter with family and friends. Jabal Hafeet hot spring is a main attraction of this area. The spring that gush from Jabal Hafeet are well known for their therapeutic quality.

This is a beautiful place for family outing like a picnic. The gardens below the foot of mountain is a nice place to have a barbecue with hot water spring running just next to you. The belief says these waters have medicinal effects. There are many activities for kids as well like camel ride, pony ride, 9D movie, etc. Also... More

A wow drive. This is one my favorite place in UAE and been there several times. The mountain drive is so good, there are several stopovers or parking space allows to have different view of mountain and easy for photography. At the top a huge parking place and have a coffee shop. The view from the top is amazing. Better... More

Jabal Hafeet is a hill just outside Al Ain. It has a superb road leading to the top - absolutely perfect. I can't think of any other bends in the UAE (aside from a million roundabouts) so the locals come here to practice - and you can see the results of that on the walls. The road is perfect -... More

Well worth the drive from Dubai. Beautiful views back across Al Ain on one side and the Sultanate of Oman the other. Quite a spectacular drive up and down, with plenty of places to stop to enjoy the scenery, take photos etc. Even a decent hotel resort near the top to stop and have a cuppa !! Wasn't busy either... The view is very good on a clear day. There isn't really anything to do once you get to the top. It is a firm favourite with cyclists and motorcyclists. Early morning over weekends you are sure to see lots of them on this road that twists 13km up the highest peak in Abu Dhabi

The views are breathtaking. The spring is quite close to the mountain and there is a lovely park there as well. You can have a nice BBQ(Braai) there. Normally cooler than Dubai. The only thing to do at the top is look at the bottom
