The Sharjah Art Museum must be a joy to visit, when a special exhibition is on. However, if you happen to visit between two special exhibitions, the permanent exhibition proves to be fascinating, but regrettably small.

When we visited there were a great many international exhibits, some of them stunning! Really enjoyed the museum but it wasn't big enough, some areas out of bounds but still worth a visit.

The museum has a nice rotation of very good exhibits. Always displayed world class. And I really appreciate that it is free - a nod to the importance of The Arts. Excellent work, Sharjah!
