It's a must visit for those who are interested in knowing about the culture of UAE. Excellent staff and we have to read out to kids for them to understand.

The ancient traditions of pearl diving and the sea routes that enriched this region are truly reflected in this museum.... perched in a remote corner of Sharjah, this is a must visit

I know so little about this fascinating country. Every time I visit I'm surprised. This museum has a captivating exhibit about the pearl trade. My 5 year old grandson must have said, "Cool!" twenty times during our visit. The country has changed at lightning speed....More

well presented rather small maritime museum right across from Sharjah Aquarium easily accessible, good parking nearby exhibits are good and well-presented, but nothing extra: sailboat (actual and scale models), wax figures in life-like situation worth the visit

The maritime museum features exhibits on Sharjah's maritime history, pearling, and merchant sailing boats. There are models of local boats, with a full-scale pearling boat.
