Having explored the old town we walked along the coast road to the town insignia sign for some typical tourist photos, with a view of the bay and town n the background. We continued on to the ‘bull ring’, which turned out to be a...More

We walked 5kms along the river ( which looks like the sea as it is so wide!) on a beautiful afternoon in April to take a picture with the 'Colonia' sign and to see the Plaza de Toros. The building can be seen from the...More

This is a pretty old site and not that well maintained. Its pretty far away from the port and old town and hence can skip this unless you really have nothing else to do.

It's an abandoned place, nothing especial, probably the most interesting and special thing was all the way before to arrive there from the historical center.

Regrettably, the bull ring building can only be seen from outside because of a fence around it. The iron and brick construction is Interesting as well as its middle age arabic style. Far from the old town, better reach it by bus, bycicle or car.

Sadly, the bull ring is a dilapidated ruin that you can only see from outside a fence. Interesting iron construction with a crumbling brick exterior. Not worth the walk from the old town.

Walked here in the morning from hotel, the best thing is the walk although long at around a hour and half each way is the beaches along the coastal path. Once at the bullring, it is in need of some TLC, its not open but...More

There is nothing there the place is falling apart and you can’t visit anything. It’s a piece of something falling into pieces .

Anyone visiting Buenos Aires should take the one hour Seacat trip across the Rio de la Plata to Colonia, Uruguay. (Take your passport. You won't travel without it). The Barria Historica, a short walk from the port, is full of interesting sights, including the City...More

As I wrote above, it's closed, but you can still enjoy some of the attractions nearby, like the Railway Museum, which is located in front of the Arena, it's cheap (20 argentinian pesos to get in, or 30 uruguayan if Im not wrong) and you...More
