Probably took half an hour maybe a little more. 188 steps to climb and the view was slightly disappointing, mainly due to the weather. On a good day you could probably see Buenos Aires in the distance. There was a small cost and we had...More

The view from the top is amazing, you can see the bay as well as the city as a whole. warning; the stairs are very narrow and in some places rather low and confining. So if you are claustrophobic this may not be a good...More

If you can pay in local currency you will get a better deal. However we only had money from Argentina and it was only 25 pesos. There are a lot of steps and you get out half way up to catch a breather. There is...More

Beautiful old lighthouse, with the Convent of San Francisco ruins attached to the wall. This involves steps, so not for anyone with immobility, but the base does hold the old Convent outline for those who do not wish to climb. Views are great from the...More

This is a nice looking light house which is kept well maintained. The stairs going up are narrow. You get a nice view from the top.

Went on a beautiful sunny day. The amount of wind kept the temperature optimized. The stairs Inside are narrow but the climb to the top is worth the climb. Beautiful view.

There are not many places in historic towns to get up high and enjoy a view. For UR$25 (around £1) this IS the place to go. Great views from the top of the whole town and across the River to Argentina - on a clear...More

We decided to take a day trip from Buenos Aires to Colonia as it is only 1 hour by ferry. Huge mistake! If it's only for 1-2 days I would not recommend this adventure. Formalities prior to the ferry trip take 2 hours in BuAs...More
