In Russian time (1890) they came upon an area of crumbled adobe remains and found a whole ancient dwelling which later was excavated and explored with great care. This museum shows the artifacts and layout of the old township. Excellent exhibition.

State Museum of Culture History of Uzbekistan is a nice Museum. You will get familiar with the Culture and History of Uzbekistan.

Probably the best museum in the country. Everything is within easy walking distance of Registon Square, including the cemetery, mausoleum complex and the bazaar.
