The restaurant in town is good but the cookery course we booked in for the following day was superb. Groups of four are taken to the food market and the various vegetables and fruits unfamiliar to us explained. We then boarded a boat to go...More

I recently took their cooking class on Christmas night, and thoroughly enjoyed myself! I was by myself, but immediately felt welcomed and included with the many others in the class. We learned about Vietnamese ingredients at the local market, followed by a nice boat ride...More

We did this on a day it was raining and it was perfect. Entertaining chef walked everyone thru the recipe and then each person had a station to try their own hand with help. The final dish you carry over to the restaurant from the...More

Great activity to do with teenagers - walk around the markets (you need s strong stomach in the meat market), boat trip to the cooking school - fun cooking lesson, and enjoyed eating all we cooked. Lots of fun.

We met at the Hai cafe and went initially to the local food market to see the produce available. Chef had already been to buy our ingredients at 4am whilst we were still happily asleep. Local kitchen tools were shown to us and an opportunity...More

Great experience with Dung taking us through the farm and market - even constant rain didn’t dampen spirits! Cooking school itself was great - well paced, and very happy with the level of hands-on provided. Lots of things learnt, and lots to try out at...More

I had the best experience taking a cooking class at Red Bridge. The Master Chef was skilled and entertaining. We learned about 5-6 different dishes. Lots of hands on experience and we were able to enjoy the fruits of our labour afterwards. I would highly...More

I have had up to 28 students do the cooking class. It depends. When my sister went last year there was only 10. I get the impression they can cater for any size group. Cheers

There were some children when we went but not as young as 7. I would check with the school, which you should be able to do via email. It wouldn't be much fun for your son unless he was able to try or help with the cooking.
