I’m staying on the coast and wasn’t planning on coming in to Hoi An today but heard about this tour and thought it sounded fun. I booked it, got a confirmation email, and then received and email an hour before the tour that it was...More

Dear Kelsey, as already stated in numerous emails, we are really sorry this happened and have tried very hard to offer a work-around and to refund you the cab fare for your journey from your hotel. You booked your tour at 1:10pm, and as Phuoc...More

So here’s the thing about finding a suitable cooking class in the small town of Hoi An – there are HEAPS to choose from. We didn’t want the typical cooking class with a huge group of people, though. As this was our anniversary getaway, we...More

The tour with Phuoc was incredibly interesting and we stopped at places and ate food we never would have otherwise (and we are not squeamish). If you want an authentic experience eating food the locals eat do this tour.

First we went on a boat ride in a round basket boat. OK, the conical hats were a bit too much. But it was all in good fun. The highlight of the day was the cooking lesson at Phuoc's house. Meeting his family and seeing...More

This is not the cheapest street food tour but our Guide, Phuoc's "brother", was great. He had trained as a chef in Europe and had a real passion for the local food. At the beginning of the tour we were given a little bag containing...More

We stayed at the Hoi An Travel Lodge Hotel at that time. New hotel and just outside the main tourist zone, so nice and quiet
