Nice sandy beach about 20 minute cycle from Hoi An town. We took the 'hidden beach' turn from the main road towards sa nang. There are three restaurants offering deckchairs, toilet and wifi if you buy something from them. Hidden beach restaurant itself is busiest...More

It's a little bike ride out to the water from the city center but to us that was the best part about it! When we got to the beach, many stall owners stepped in front of our bikes and were trying to charge us to...More

I have to declare I am from Australia up front to put my view of beaches in perspective! Ang Bang beach is pretty good for this area but the water was very murky when I visited ( May-hot wet season could be to blame) and...More

Best beach in Vietnam. Hands down. Super chill, reasonably priced, stunning water, lovely people. We could've spent an extra day here and thought nothing of it.

Lovely, clean beach! About 20 minutes bicycle ride from Hoi An' s old town. When biking you'll find lots of people telling you where you "have to" park. I think the best deal is to park and buy a big bottle of water for 10,000...More

This is a great place to have lunch, sit on the sofas, listen to the music and generally lounge. Food is superb and the service is great. The beach is unspoilt and lots of interesting beach restaurants.

Lots of sun beds. Can enjoy a beer at your lounge should you desire. Its a nice bike ride from Hoi An. 10 years ago quiet and very local. Now laden with tourists. A great way to enjoy the warmth.

We had a great swim. Be careful. The beach chairs are not free unless you eat or drink at the restaurant directly behind the chair you sit on. Do an initial recce of all the restaurants( and their toilet facilities) before you decide on your...More

Read many reviews before booking my hotel. Just perfect not too crowded and international. The locals come out around 4PM and it's even better. I purchase most of my gifts from the local ladies on the beach. Best beach ever 😎

Are there any alternatives to An Bang that you can bike or cab to? Sounds like An Bang is pretty touristy, so I'm just wondering if anyone has discovered another spot.

From An Bang you can walk towards Cu Dai beach until there are no people around you at all. There is 35 kilometres of beach here so always possible to get away from the tourists.

Stay in the Hoi An Historic and the bikes are free to take from the hotel. Its a 4k ride to beach and its all flat and you get great paddy fields photo ops on the bike too
