Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam amid 150 hectares of dunescape similar to what the world’s first golf courses were carved from. Its chief feature is a 7,160-yard, 18-hole, links-style layout that was designed in the true spirit of the game — blown-out bunkers, firm and fast fairways that bleed gently into wild seaside vegetation, rugged waste areas, swales and hollows — by Australian golf legend and former world No. 1 Greg Norman. It lies in close proximity to two of Vietnam’s most historic destinations — UNESCO World Heritage sites Hoi An and Hue — and offers breathtaking views of the Marble Mountains, East Sea and Cham Islands.

A very playable championship course designed by Greg Norman who has a creative streak about bunkers and the rough. I am sure he got a little confused but if you stay on the short stuff you will be fine. Wander and it becomes a challenge. the caddies are some of the best I have known in all south East Asia... This is so much better than the Montgomerie course - a great day out. Whole set up works well and would enjoyit before the massive Sheraton is built in between the two

Played 2 rounds here and found the course to be in very good condition. Reception was quick and easy and had a fabulous caddie which makes the day more enjoyable. The layout itself is well designed with lots of wasteland bunkers(very tough so don;t get in them). The clubhouse sold good food and cold beer after the roundto cap off a very... The course layout is average. Not well manicured. Lots and lots of beach sand mixed in with the rough. Mandatory caddies cannot speak a word of English. Customer service is a foreign concept to them. Had a lousy experience with my rentals. They ran out of "regular shaft steel" and they told me I am SOL. Got stuck with clubs... More

Just had a round this Tuesday morning. Was going to play Ba Na Hills but thought I'd save some $$$ Had a massive shock at the price as it is still considered a public holiday with Lunar new year celebration. Couldnt be stuffed paying for another taxi to head to Ba Na Hills so I thought I'd give it a... More

A lovely course and a "must do" if you are a keen golfer visiting the region. I must confess however that I generally prefer to walk a course but here, they force you to use a local caddy (which of course has a mandatory fee). Then, following the round, you're expected to tip which is hard to stomach when a)... More
