Lovers of luxury trains, this was the most anticipated activity on our itinerary. So we were extremely disappointed. A total lack of organisation, no air con on a very hot night and very poor quality food made for a night that did not live up...More

This is an historic train which has been restored. They take on a trip to the bridge over the Zambezi. During the trip I learnt a lot after a history talk by the owner. Followed by a full on silver service dinner. Excellent.

You must take this train! Not cheap, but what an experience. They have done an outstanding job restoring and maintaining this relic. You really get a sense of what train travel used to be like in the day.More

A novel way to dine. On boarding the train we were treated to complimentary drinks before the train departed for the bridge over Victoria Falls. We disembarked the train for viewing and photographs at sunset. Plenty of locals selling copper bracelets on the bridge. They...More

The food on board was nicely presented and I was surprised that it tasted so good. I seem to recall there were 5 courses and the timing of the courses was neither rushed or delayed. We really enjoyed the experience
