Very informative about the history, nature and culture of Zambia with a great emphasis on honouring the local culture and resisting foreign influences. An interesting approach indeed.

In the middle of Livingstone which is small so easy to get to. First thing to see is Zambia Air Force’s first plane, a Chipmunk from the UK! Inside, I spent too much time on really interesting pre-Stone Age history leading up to modern day....More

This is a small, older museum but it is very well organized and worth the visit. Touches on historical and current Africa. Great room dedicated to Livingston. Was glad to support the local museum and learned a few things.

Very well presented exhibition of zambias history and culture. Interested adults can spend 2 hours there. Kids may be bored after 20 minutes. I'm very glad I went; better than another afternoon by the pool! The governing body and curators can be proud of themselves.

This is a lovely place to visit but the displays are a little old and in need of upgrading we thought. It contains many, very interesting things and information.

Although this museum does have some interesting information, the most recent information was from early 2000's. Faded, worn out and definitely in need of a museum curator"s special touch.
