Worth a visit when in Nagoya/Gifu. The park at the base is lovely, and the view from the castle is great! Probably the best view from all the (8) castle I had visited so far.

Lovely hike up the hill to Aida Nobunaga's charming castle's. You'll enjoy great views of Gifu from the summit.

The trip to the almost top of the mountain in the cable was both breathtaking and exciting. The castle was disappointing but the view was worth the trip.

I think I paid around 1000 Yen for an adult round trip ticket on the cable car October 2016.
