Lots of fishy options and it all looks great. I don't eat seafood so it's all just a visual treat for me, but it's a really nice little market if you enjoy markets!

So many tasty fishy bits to look at or buy and enjoy. I would definitely pass through here on your journey!

This market is where the locals shop, but just like the Tsukiji market in Tokyo and the Nishiki market in Kyoto, there are also many visitors from around the world. A very nice market to see what the city has to offer, but I felt...More

This is a sizeable market with a variety of fish, sake and food stalls. It is definitely worth having a browse whilst in Kanazawa. There is also a food hall downstairs with outlets serving fast Japanese food.

Probably I visited it at the wrong time. Didn't find anything to eat, probably it was in the second floor? There were a couple of places and a long line of Chinese tourists waiting. Prices? Expensive especially if you are eating in a market. After...More

They sell produce, meat, fish, clothes, sundries, tea, ice cream, and there are lots of little food stalls. Stuff was surprisingly pricey. I was also surprised how much stuff was pre-packaged and/or dried. Thank God, there were no live animals or fish for sale. I...More

Go! Can't say any more. Fresh oysters/ sea urchin/ crabs / fish. ... ikura spilling out of your ears! This place is so convenient to get to and there is so much to see and eat! Just take the circular bus!

We had the best oyster in this market. The food is not cheap, but worth the price. The grilled fish is a bit too salty. The place is known for its seafood. We had the seafood bowl and sushi in one of their restaurants, great...More

We are here now and it is really cold and still as busy as ever, I don't think the weather will affect the day to day stuff much.
