This department store is located next to the Omi-Cho Market. We mostly used an area called the Kuromon-Koji on the first floor, which had many varieties of local souvenirs, sweets and sake. You can probably find similar things at the Kanazawa station, but the Kuromon-Koji...More

If you are in Kanazawa, I recommend staying close to Meitetsu M'za. It's underground across the road from Omicho market and there are dozens of little shops around. The supermarket underground is amazing with a huge variety and an awesome danish shop near the entrance.
