We wandered past here on our way back from the castle. The street looks promising, however the shops seem to sell frog paraphernalia and little else. You will likely walk past on your way back from the castle, so have a look, but not worth...More

We hit this place up on the way back to the station after seeing the castle. It's a charming little street with lots of shops and goodies. But hands down - the best part was this totally awesome statue built by students from the University...More

Frogs of all sorts are to be found in this area! This is because water close by have frogs! Somewhat pricey, shops abound with these and other souvenirs are for sale.

Passes by 'cos it was along the way. Spent about 10min here walking through. Not a place I'd recommend but if you are in the vicinity...maybe just pop in for a short visit. Who know...there might by something there that may interest you.

After visiting Takeyama, this street was underwhelming for us. In same ways similar, but lacks the scale and character of Takayama's.
