Not that impressed except that it was a good place to see a good variety of birds on the water below.

Kushiro was one of our ports of calls in Japan and if at first sight , the port seemed to have more of a commercial vocation than a touristic one , the Nusamai Bridge was close by and it did offer some interesting views ....More

It's a bridge with some sculptures, if you happen to be nearby maybe take a look, but as attractions go don't make any special effort.

A bridge near the Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf. Could see the cruise ships from there. Good view and worth the visit.

Located next to the Shopping Center, the bridge is worth walking over and taking photographs of. As there is not much to do in the city of Kushiro if you are not on a cruise, a nice walk that includes the bridge about is recommended

At one end there is a flower clock and downstream fishing vessels can be seen tied up to the wharf. The bridge has several sculptures which are claimed to be the first sculptures on a bridge in Japan. Sunsets over the port can be spectacular.
