The ropeway itself seems very much like a typical tramway...it's a spectacular smooth ride up a steep mountain that takes about 10 minutes. However, the fun part is at the top. One has great views of the city and of the bay (is that Godzilla...More

Early May visit meant collision with Golden Week crowds but last bits of cherry blossoms. Gondola felt very stable and safe. Clean bathrooms at the top. Great thing to do on a clear day.

short but sweet trip. If you think that this is a gentle trip in a 6 seater think again, huge, holds approx 130 people so either pick a slow time or be prepared to share your personal bubble for about 5 minutes

Nice view from th cable car and was fine going up. Quick and not too expensive. Going down was a killer as everyone wanted to go down together and it was very crowded .

The rope way operates every 5 minutes but still very crowded around evening time. There are tons of tour buses and tourists entering and leaving the place.

Ok, it's peak tourism season and peak time to see the night sky, so we picked the busiest time with long queues and tour groups. Crowded at the viewing platform. Certainly not worth the money nor the time to see the lights, unless you are...More
