In the middle of the nat did they put This island. With good weather You can see mount Fuji what would be Awesome but for the rest nothing more than An island with shops in the middle of the bay. Luckily they have a good Starbucks there. I can not imagine why in the weekend there are huge queues.

Quite an enjoyable trip! As an additional benefit you can also talk to that man about that dog looking at the ocean.

We were told about this 9.5 kms long tunnel within the sea. So we went to see this. Also it was noon time and we were informed about the good restaurants at this place. We had our lunch and then had few photo stops at this place. They have also kept the huge semi circular blade on display which was... More

Its a manmade island connecting 2 towns in Tokyo sub burbs. The place is definitely a must visit, there is a under sea tunnel on one end and a bridge other side of the island. The place has a small museum which explains how this island is made, café and some shops to spend your day.

They say the fun lies in the journey. This is totally apt for Umihotaru. To reach there you either go by the 9km under-sea tunnel or by the 6 km highway on water. Either way it is very exciting to travel in it. The spot itself has not much entertainment but is a good resting point and the technology in... More

In the middle of the Tokyo bay this parking area is the cener point of a unique connecting road Aqua line in between Kawasaki & Chiba. On one side half the connector is a bridge while the other half is a tunnel under the sea! It has got various restaurants & souvenir shops. On a sunny day the view is... More

The driver of our private transfer who was taking us from Narita Airport to Yokohama stopped the van at this huge parking structure and told us to get out and follow him. We did not know what was going on and why we stopped so we just followed. He lead us up a couple of flights on the escalator and... More

As a parking area of highway, souvenir shop was lively.Perhaps, as the noon draws near, it gets crowded. So early morning is best time to visit. A loquat softcream was a unique gourmet.
