Take a cruise around the lake or enjoy many of the water based or walking, cycling activities there. A must for a warm day but a no no for cold and wet days.

We took a cruise around lake Ashi. It's a beautiful lake. If you are lucky you can see Mt Fuji from the cruise but we weren't that lucky that day !!!!

We took the short boat ride from the Hakone Kojiri terminal to Hakone-en. There are restrooms on board. Lake Ashinoko is a crater lake. The ride is relaxing and the scenery of lake and mountains is awe-inspiring.

Beautiful lake with a great experience on one of these cool looking pirate ships. Great view of the famous landmark shrine. A good walk around the lake as well.
