i must say that i am more than shocked after visiting sea paradise. i have not been to a zoo for a long time but what i have seen there reminded me of why i do not want to visit another one anymore. these animals are supposed to be in the wild and not captured in too small cages. i... More

The dolphin show was good, other than that there's nothing much to see. We have been to other aquariums like Ocean Park in Hong Kong, Singapore, KLCC Msia and they have plenty more to offer in their aquariums. The park was a bit deserted because we went during a week day.

To be honest, I have my doubts about enjoying it on a cool winter day but the beautiful park amazed me. The Aquarium, the penguins and the dolphin shows awoke the inner child in my heart. That and seeing my favorite marine animal, a beautiful whale shark makes everything so so perfect.

We went on a Wednesday, it was not crowded. Easy to walk around and the dolphin show was awesome. Main purpose of the visit was to see the Whale Sharks but they died. Still the rest of the park more than justified the trip from Yokohama to hakkeijima. Did a half day without the amusement area, was very cold.

the aquarium didn't have much but the area was decent size and plenty to see. 2 adults in our early 30's and we were easily satisfied with the experience. been to aquariums all over the world, the dolphin show at this aquarium was the best i've ever been to. mind you even the bench seating that was outside of the... I went on a very cold and windy day. Since the park is near the sea, it was very cold and we've got some rain. Despite all, it was a nice day. The park was very empty, so you could see all the atractions in a simple way. The park has 2 parts: 1) Acqua resort and 2) Pleasure Land.... More

I was pleasantly surprised with Hakkeijima Sea Paradise. They had a vast array of sea animals which we had never seen before - polar bear, whale shark, beluga whales. They also had a petting area where you could actually touch the beluga whales and dolphins. The aqua show was superb, although we didn't understand a word (as it was all in... More

Very interesting wildlife kept here but it would be nice to see better cages in some cases especially the polar bear who looks miserable. No attempt to keep him cool not enough area to swim in. Nothing of interest in many of cages just bare concrete -very different to the zoo here for example

The park is situated on a island so you need to take a monorail train to get there - it's an awesome way to start the day as the view is spectacular! The main aqua park is home to many dolphins and you can take a little boat to roam around and enjoy their company. The aquarium is home to... More
