I was there for the countdown with some friends and it was really nice. In Japan is not everywhere that you can find fireworks for the new year celebration. We enjoyed the hole special night/day, at the park, aquarium and watching the sun rising.

We had small kids, so we didn't ride that one. Sorry. I'm assuming it is at least 120 cm or higher. I checked the website, but couldn't find the info for you.
