A war ship was docked when we visited which was very exciting to see. The area is amazing, very clean, the surrounding streets have plenty of cafes & shops, a very pleasant outing.

what an awesome terminal and facilities - huge clean area, and so unlike some dreary passenger terminals - something worth seeing and doesn't take too long if time is limited

If you are here be sure to take time to loll around the port terminal and watch the action on the water. This terminal is of an intricate shape - it has the feel of a ship on waves - its linear and wavy patterns...More

The unique design of the Yokohama port and terminal building is very welcoming to pedestrians, joggers, dog walkers, and for wedding photos, as we witnessed. For a public area, the internet was quite good. It was a fun port to depart as many locals come...More

This place is huge, International cruise terminal - it is a big square with long buildings on sides. Inside this buildings you can buy souvenirs or the national japanese things. There are few nice restorants.

The pier building itself is a stylish, artistic architectural beauty. It reflects the modern side of Japan. Many locals come to visit the pier, especially when there is a large cruise ship in berth. So, even if you are not coming on a cruise trip,...More

Did you do a tour of Japan on Diamond Princess? Any advice? Any place where you might have written reviews about the trip? (we are doing it in August)

Hi, My wife & I (reasonably mobile retirees) are due to arrive at the Yokohama Port Osanbashi Cruise terminal at around 08.00 on Tues 11 April. We fly out of Haneda at 16.35 the same day so figure we have around 5 hours for a quick look around. Is there somewhere at the Pier to leave our suit cases ? What would you recommend for our time there and what is the best way to get to Haneda ? Or would we be better off going straight to the Airport, leave our bags there, and then catch the train back into Tokyo for the short time we have. Thanks, Ray
