Weather is good today to go for a short cruise at Lake Chuzenji. Definitely you will enjoy the natural view of the lake, the greens and Mt. Nantai.

It is a little out of the day when it comes to planning the itinerary but it is soo beautiful! It'll be difficult to complete the whole day incuding the temples, but if you take the first train from Asakusa, you'd probably be able to...More

We spent a week touring Temples and Shrines throughout Japan. Hot and sweaty work. Getting out of the cities and visiting the lake and mountains was wonderful. We walked, shopped, and enjoyed delicious food in Nikko

We visited towards the end of Autumn and the place was very quiet but shops were still open and the lake was absolutely beautiful.

The Lake is a pretty impressive sight with its majestic volcanic backdrop. However, the main road runs very close to the edge and on the Saturday afternoon we visited, the noise and fumes of the motorbikes and cars did detract from the peaceful idyll we...More

Very cold in May with past peak cherry blossoms at the lake side. Very clean public toilets are available.
